The view from here...

From my vantage point at the end of the kitchen table, I can see...

  • Kelsey's kitchen, vacant, except for the fridge and stove. No cabinets yet. Be it duly noted that the stove is listing portside 12 degrees, making cake baking an interesting endeavor. We shall guarantee that it's replecement is level.
  • A Narnia sword that makes "DING!" or "KONK!" noises every time it's inner motion sensor is triggered. This makes for exciting sword fights for a 5 year old, but for horrible rides in the car when we manages to take the thing along and it fires off at every tar strip and pebble in the road.
  • An envelope holding the RSVP's for the Big Adoption Bash. You're invited. Let us know ASAP or someone's gonna be sans-dinner, and it's the close of a fast, so you don't want to do that.
  • My watch on the kitchen table. Why can I not use a laptop while wearing a watch? Is it just me?
  • The newly mowed back yard. Way to go, Jackson!
  • Kelsey's drywall gear.
I can also hear a basement of little boys laughing. This is good.

The watch thing is common to me, too. Hope that frightens you just a little ...

How did you get a picture of your post inside the picture of your post?

P.S. You should check out Camino as a browser. It's faster on OS X than Firefox is and it still has the WYSIWYG blog-post editor that Safari doesn't support for some reason.

Shawn. I used my Ninja time-shifting skills to take the picture after it was placed, then race back in time to post it.

I use Firefox, which offers wysiwyg, html, and naacp.

1. I had a feeling it was something to do with Eastern Martial Arts.

2. Does Firefox know you're white?

Firefox has no clue. I was not even aware until just recently myself. You can imagine the shock.

I do appreciate that affect. I can't figure it out; I have no ninja skills nor have any understanding on the other stuff you are mentioning. Your blog either leaves me scratching my head or a nice chuckle. I enjoy it!

Oh yes, did a little bird tell you? I am moving to K.C. in a few weeks. So i'll be seeing you and your beautiful family soon! Yeah!
