Update

OK, I know it sounds wild, but I had no idea when I got up this morning that I'd be heading to Florida to pick up twin baby girls.

Kelsey and I are in Dallas waiting for a connecting flight right now. People have asked what we need, so here you go:

PRAYER - that God would grant us favor with the birth mom, who is a troubled young woman. She is scheduled to sign papers tomorrow morning. Pray for favor when we meet her at 8:30am.

FUNDS - this will not be the most expensive adoption in the world, but we're still in need of about $10,000-$12,000 for legal fees, etc. plus travel expenses. THANKS TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY HELPED - if you'd like to join the troop, MASH DOWN HERE and paypal it, or mail us a check.

Next update will be late late tonight from Florida. Oh my word. I think I have six kids.

Would any of the twin girls supplies that we have be of use to you? I know we have a crib divider (to use one crib for two babies), two Graco Snugride infant car seats, carseat covers to keep baby warm, at least one bouncy seat, and lots of baby girl clothes.

If you would like any of those things, we would love to give them to you.

There are a number of companies that have multiples programs that offer free products or special discounts to parents of twins. After our girls were born, I sent out a letter to a list of companies I was given by other twin moms, and we received bottles, toys, pacifiers, clothes, formula, blankets, sippy cups, etc. If you are interested, I can send you the information. Since I’m sure stuffing envelopes is not going to be high on your priority list when you return, I would be happy to mail out the letters for you if you’d like. Just let me know if you’re interested.

We will be praying for you and those precious little girls.

Randy/Kels:

You don't have to post this. I love you guys and am praying for you. I sent a paltry donation it's all I have right now since I just paid for my plane ticket for DC. Do you know you are the tip of the spear? I know you are following Hickey's blog when you can, and I am sure you have heard about the Lampstand Project. God is putting things in place for the ending of RvW. I pray many others will see your courage in taking on the responsibility for these beautiful children and boldly pursue adoption, following your lead.
