Ramping up...

It's ramp up time at TheCall. Las Vegas is sixteen days away. This means we're having our second team meeting of the week tomorrow...and next week we'll probably do three. Just a few things we're dealing with:
  • Enough sound gear to fill a semi trailer, hung from a 200+ foot ceiling necessitating extra long hoist chains, or so my contractor tells me.
  • How many vans does it take to move X number of people from Y number of locations to Z drop zones. And we're not sure of the values of X, Y or Z.
  • Using a low wattage in-house FM transmitter to broadcast in Spanish, allowing people to use transistor radios and earbuds to hear the translation in Spanish. Now if I only knew how to say 'radio' in Spanish so I could get the word out.

"Radio" is one of the most difficult words to remember in Spanish...

tada ... radio ... Now all you have to remember is if it's "la radio" or "el radio" which has to do with the receiving apparatus or the signal and programing. Fun, fun. Have to pray for the interpretation, Randy.

Karen Wheaton and Chosen were at my church this morning... will they be in Vegas or was that just for Nashville?
