All doors, no windows....

I've had this Windows box under my desk for months and ignored it. It's quiet in the office today, with TheCall team on 2 day hiatus, so I did the right thing....I downloaded Linux.

I'd never used it before but found myself up and running in no time. I'm booting off a live CD right now but my guess it'll get moved over to the hard drive now that I've had a chance to mess with it.

Are you going to join the Red Hat Society? (G) I just got my very FIRST Mac last Friday! I've been in computers for um, well, before the PC was sold, and this is the first Mac I've owned. It was the ads for Leopard that changed my mind. Of course, Leopard isn't out yet; it will be soon. I still have to run Windows for all the accounting packages we run and I put that all under VPN. I'm looking forward to learning iWork 08 and iLife 08. Does Jackson tutor overseas?

Ubuntu is a great choice. I've got a Mac and a PC running Ubuntu. It's the only version of Linux I've ever used but it's been great for me. Let me know if you have any questions. I might not have the answer, but I'll know where to point you ;)
