Due to the fact that I am, of course, a student of trends, tipping points, and other things signifying the shifting of the times, I have noticed something recently that I cannot let go unblogged. I am unable to connect the dots, but I will go out on a limb and make the following observation(s).
The IHOP blogging trend is dead or dying. It has been replaced by the latest IHOP craze - riding scooters.
Stay tuned for further observations and discuss amongst yourselves.

It's not just IHOP, it seems the entire 'fad' of blogging is beginning to die out...
Yeah, but at IHOP it flamed late and died early.
I had noticed the decline in blogging, but have not caught on to the scooter thing (I guess because not many people probably ride them at three in the morning). I may have to drop by in the early afternoons more often just to observe the phenomenon...
Your right Randy, it died and died fast! I checked everybody's blog last night and it seemed as though your short departure from blogging really started the downward trend. I guess you really are a trend setter.
I think the scooter thing will die fast as well...come November Im going to love watching Joel trying to drive his scooter in a couple inches of snow!
I think the next fad should be go karts or something.
Did anyone tell Shawn? Brent's right; after you quit blogging, all the fun went away and so did the bloggers. Yep, you are a forerunner, Randy. But as long as you write blogs, I'll check back every couple of hours. :)
@Brent - HA! I had the same thought.
@Esther - That was an unpaid endorsement...
Thanks for giving me this news yesterday... I should kill my blog, right? :) CBB
After the scooter phase always comes the VW bug/vanogan/thig/squareback phase.
I share these things not to cause you to lose faith, but to gird you in your most holy domestic car faith.
Beforewarned you in KC :D
Oooo... I always wanted a thing...
... I think the next fad should be something like dying your eyebrows odd colors... just to make the rest of the world wonder....
...or not.
