If there's a brownout in your neighborhood...blame me.

With a sixty degree day, I decided to put some Christmas lights on the house. Understand that I am normally kind of grinchy about this sort of thing, but the weather bouyed my spirits enough to get on the roof. I ended up attempting a full Griswold treatment (much to the bemusement of my wife).

Just wait 'till it gets dark, kids. Ain't no one in the neighborhood gonna sleep without wearing eye patches.

It was awesome!!! Randy up on the roof being festive - the kids running around the yard laughing - the inaugural lighting. Flat awesome. We have red and green lining the roof, white lining the sidewalk and plain red on the bushes. It's a colorful celebration of the season. And my husband AGREED to this!! After 16 years, he actually said "YES" to outdoor lights! WAHOO! It's a sign and wonder on the earth, folks. And the funny thing is, I think he really enjoyed it : )

I would love to see a picture of this, complete with Santa's sleigh and reindeer.
