Some good friends found their way into the newspaper....reminding me that we're alike in some ways and vastly different in others. I did enjoy seeing the portraits of people I knew and a few I'd only heard about (and was beginning to wonder whether or not they were real....)

Out to change the world / BURNING MAN AT 20: Burners take creative approach to building sense of community: "'We're trying with our regional movement to ultimately change the world itself so people can live in a community full-time that affirms their identity,' said Larry Harvey, the 57-year-old who started it all. 'We want them to start conceiving how to do something on Main Street. ... That is the heart of what we have been preaching all along.'"
