The single most useful parenting gadget in the history of the world, with the possible exception of the pacifier, would have to be Focus on the Family's Adventures in Odyssey cassette tape series. It will cause a squirmy five year old boy with a burr haircut to forget all the troubles of kindergarten in order to listen closely...only to drop off to sleep long before the tape's over. Quote of the week: "Play that one again, I been tryin' to listen to it for three nights."
