The past couple of days, I've been reading Mayflower by Christopher Hilton. It's a fascinating look at what we know (and don't know) about the passengers of the Mayflower.
While reading historical works like this, I'm always reminded of how normal these people were. They were susceptible to the same pitfalls as we are - pride, ignorance and cable television.
Well, 2 out of 3 anyway.
