Find mud. Insert boys.

As you can see, we had a bit of a mud hole in the back yard. Obviously, Grayson and Zion were most intrigued by this. They're pictured here, Grayson happily posing for the photo while Zion wonders "How much mud can I pack into his ear?"

A few days ago, Zion announced that he no longer wanted to be called by his initials. Since he was very small, he's been Z.B. Two nights ago, he crawled up in my lap for prayer, and I asked him "what's the deal? What's wrong with Z.B.?"

He scrunched up his nose to express his distaste and said "I just don't like it."

I asked him when he started to not like it, because he's never mentioned it up until now. He sort of rolled his eyes and said "I've never liked it. I've just been too busy to say anything."

Too busy for nearly six years. Ok, Zion it is. It's really not a bad name to go with. :)

Sammy's reaction to your beautiful pic...."Duuuuude!!!!!" accompannied by a fit of giggles. I couldn't have said it any more eloquently. Where is the pic of the hosing that I know had to have happened after? I know from experience you are very good at soaking people.

Classic!! You totally capture the difference between these two!

I think there's something prophetic to Zion wanting to be called Zion instead of ZB. ;)

@Shelley - TOTALLY. I've had that thought a number of times while watching him play with swords and shields along with Lou Engle's 5 year old, Judah...

I remember it well - the day my Jonathan announced, "I'm no longer J.T. - that's a baby name and I'm not a baby." He was four.

I have the same mud picture only insert two little blonde headed girls. And you thought Marisa and Alicia were always sweet southern belles!
