The first two and a half hours were spent pouring energy down a rat hole, if I do say so my own self. We had a boring theme. Think "Watching Paint Dry" minus the suspense. At the 2 1/2 hr mark, we tripped the Genius Switch, scrapped the first plan and replaced it with a doozy. My side still hurts from laughing. Stay tuned for more info.
I was asked to do some writing for The Source.
The Source is onething's leadership network. I'm excited about helping young leaders (didn't I used to BE a young leader?!?!) gain some advantage in how they're thinking about their role. I also wish I had some of that available to me at that age. My leadership style was pretty much "Run for your lives!" until I was in my early 30's and a mentor starting giving me some input. Maybe we can save some of these people a few headaches.
Today was 2.22.
If that date means anything to you, gimme a shoutout in the comment section.
Thought of the day, emailed to someone specific but probably good enough to wrap your noggin around for a while as well...
I sensed the Lord tell say that it's a Joshua 6 day. Particularly the first few verses, where the Lord says "I have delivered Jericho into your hands...." even though Joshua is still clearly outside the fortified city of his destiny.
The only thing between Joshua and the truth as God spoke it (the city being delivered into his hands) is a bridge of obedience over a chasm of impossibility.
