the gun club convenes....

I'm waiting for the other members to arrive....for the first time of the '06 season, we will hold our meeting outside. It is a gorgeous 73 degrees and from where I am sitting, I can see both a KC trash truck and watch the sun rise over the BP station. OK, so the clubhouse lacks in ambiance, but we've got coffee, for crying out loud. And it's summer. Did I mention I got flip flops?

This afternoon is Gray's birthday party, wherein a gaggle of boys will go to a park and burn hamburgers, then return to our house for a screening of Narnia.

Comrade Eric has just arrived for the meeting, therefore I will close the powerbook.
