I am a city boy and have made that fashion faux paux (sp?). Granted, it wasn't at the State of The Union Address (I am sure I am on the list of "don't let this guy in"), but I have showed up in shorts and tshirt to speak at a church and asked if I had my clothes hanging in my car to keep them from being rinkled. When I said no the smile left their face. Assumption will do that to a person..:) Maybe I have a simple dress code; make sure that you are dressed.. seems cool to me....
