Not many years ago, the Sunday Night Roast was a group of people talking about their pastor's sermon...but not any more. At least not for me.
I'm roasting some beans for the road tonight. The process is made a little bit slower by the fact that my thrift store bean roaster (a thinly disguised popcorn popper) has a tendency to over heat and shut down (sissy safety feature>.
First two batches of dark roast looked fantastic, and my assumptions were verified by a test pot.
Ah....that's good coffee.

Randy, you are the marketing guru. How do you think a jiffy pop type of bean roaster would go over? on the Research side I am going to make a dutch oven and fuel it with the woods that are being cleared for the highway. I think that I will be able to reach the temps needed to properly roast. I will have my guys get with your guys when we get the results. Can anyone say pine tree latte?

Here's a marketing challenge - fuel it with the trees they'll tear out making Red Bridge into a Five Lane Super highway and then sell it door to door in Terrace Lakes under the label "IHOP COFFEE".
Or just hit your head with a hammer. Same dif.
