BREITBART.COM - Hecklers Cause Coulter to Cut UConn Speech:
"Conservative columnist Ann Coulter gave up trying to finish a speech at the University of Connecticut on Wednesday night when boos and jeers from the audience became overwhelming. Coulter cut off the talk after 15 minutes and instead held a half-hour question-and-answer session."
Double standard, anyone?

I certainly hope the entire prayer movement doesn't really think Jesus was the first Republican.
Sean
Well, first of all, I never said the entire prayer movement thought that Jesus was the first Republican. I said that I hope it doesn't. Second of all, I made that comment not just because of your post or Joanna's Ann Coulter doll, but because my comment about Ann Coulter being an idiot never made it into print. (Yeah, gotta love that free speech.) And third, I've been reading your blog since the Justice House of Prayer days, and you take unnecessary shots at Democrats every chance you get, as if Jesus had a party affiliation.
I got news for you Randy- I'm a Christian, and I'm a Democrat. It is possible. I voted for John Kerry and if given 100 chances to do it over I would do it 100 more times.
For the most part I really like your blog, but man, you really don't have to be a smart-aleck to get your point across. You might want to try expressing some of that grace you want everyone else to try.
Sean
1) My comment was unnecessarly sarcastic and I have bounced it. I stand corrected and ask your forgiveness.
2) I didn't get your first comment - seriously. Although to be fair, I probably would have bounced it too, for the same reason I'm bouncing mine.
I'm in no place to question your Christianity, and I didn't ask who you voted for.
Randy
Oh - and to clarify, even though I didn't see your original comment (I'm assuming here - you don't explicitly say that you posted it here so maybe I'm wrong), I want everyone to understand that were I to have bounced it, I would have done so without any misgivings. This is not a free speech issue - free speech is for newspapers and college campuses. This is my electronic living room. No one is forced to visit or read.
That being said, in the few weeks I've had my comments up, the only comment I've bounced so far (or not posted) was my own a few minutes ago.
Yu're right; I shouldn't have tried to play the martyr and turn this into a free speech issue. When it comes to blog comments, message boards, etc. I have the tendency to try to make myself look good at someone else's expense, and I end up having to go and apologize later. I'm sorry, please forgive me.
All I know is Ann needs a sandwich or two...
