Reports of my demise have been exaggerated.... We are alive and well and resting in the TriCities area of Tennessee. We've not had wifi the last few days but are back online now.
After a short break we're heading back to DC for Taryn & Adam's wedding, and then in mid September, we'll return to Kansas City to join up with the staff of the International House of Prayer once again. We knew our stay in DC was not a permanent move, so it'll be good to get back into the groove of IHOP. I will be serving in some yet-to-be-nailed-down capacity there.
Our time in East Tennessee is always rich and full. Food included. We've already hit the Red Pig BBQ- it was wonderful, if not kosher. I've tried to drink my weight in sweet tea every day. Sometimes it's difficult.
