We stumbled to the top of the stairs for an amazing 360 degree view of the vallies on both sides. The structure was not exactly as solid as I wished it was, but we made the climb and ate our sandwhiches top side. Jackson had a minor freakout moment on the descent of the water tower but we talked him down without having to throw him over the edge.
It took us about 3 1/2 hrs to make the full trip. We stumbled on to 3 deer on the way back down - two running on our path and another one who surfaced from the lake as we walked by. It was a great day to be a dad!
