EBay to pop up on Time Warner Cable TV - May. 19, 2005: "Viewers in Austin will be able to click their remotes to view the status of eBay bids they made on their computers. Users can set the software to alert them on their TV screens if they are outbid, and can then use their remotes to raise their bids."

Serious nerds have already attempted to Tivo their eBay, rip the audio channel and podcast it, allowing them to bid long after the auction has ended.
