Moving to Washington, DC is not something I anticipated. Ever. North Dakotans do not move to Washington, DC. They rarely even go there on vacation. True North Dakotans go to Medora or maybe is far as Yellowstone if they don't need to get back to work the summer fallow...but we most certainly do not go east. At least no further east than Minneapolis to visit the cultural centers.
I am excited about the tasks at hand...the idea of directing all of these college age Nazirite types feels like something we've been in training for since 1989. Funny how our real training began about the time I graduated from college.
Hopefully a lot of the fuzziness around the move will get cleared up this weekend...like where we will live! :)
