I took about ten interns out leaf raking today...drove through a neighborhood and landed at a house 'at random....". Once I got the homeowners reluctant approval ("you're going to what? for free? that's bizarre....") we went to work.

Meanwhile, neighbors came out of the woodwork to ask "How did you know?".

"Know what?!?" We asked.

"That these people have two children in wheelchairs and really needed some help?"

"Uh....we....didn't."

We had several neighbors stop with the same question, including one who drove by twice saying "This is good. This is good."

I'm with her.
