hunkered down in the bunker...

We're camped in the basement tonight as the skies unleash their fury on Kansas City. The infohairdo on the news said tornados were very likely, so we've taken the low ground.

I drove Kevin & Lorna Matthews to the airport earlier this evening - hope they got out before the weather rolled in. Lorna called about 8:15 pm and said their plane had been delayed. I never heard anything after that, so I'm assuming no news is good news.

uh oh - sirens are wailing....
