It's 8:02 AM and I'm parked on the floor in the living room with Zion, who is watching The Big Comfy Couch. It's funny - this is the first interest he's shown in TV. This afternoon we're joining the Van Weeldens and Geverdts on a big family trip back to Science City. There is probably no bigger family entertainment bang for the buck than the family pass to a good museum.

Mike Bickle taught on the end times last night - I am beginning to understand just how badly the teaching of eschatology has been ignored in my experience. It was spiritualized and made comfortable (especially for westerners, who have a hard time syncing their end times theology with the experience of the church around the world), but rarely delved into, frankly.

It matters how it all ends. And it has huge ramifications on how we shall live.
